Abomination That Maketh Desolate Already Fulfilled

This has to be tackled first so that when you don't see it as prophecy to be fulfilled, you will not be disappointed nor think that I mistakenly left it out.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another [Mark 13:2 Jesus included all buildings in Jerusalem], that shall not be thrown down. And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world (Matthew 24:1-3)?

The Apostles' question to Our Lord was in three parts: (1) when will there not be one stone left upon another of the Temple; (2) what sign will precede Your coming back; and (3) what sign will precede the end of the world? Keep in mind that during the time Jesus is on earth, the earth is marking the end of 4,000 years or four days (a day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years is as a day - Psalm 90:4).
Adam until Abraham 2,000 years or 2 days
Abraham until Christ 2,000 years or 2 days
Christ until His second coming 2,000 years or 2 days
Christ's Millennial Reign 1,000 years or 1 day
7,000 years or 7 days (week)

The answers Jesus gave the Apostles are for what is to take place within the last 2,000 years, and the answers are not in the same order in which the questions were asked. Remember, He's only talking about two days of God's time which is a very short period - two days or the currently ending 2,000 years, in which we are to first,

Take heed that no man deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet [we're now at the end]. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come (Matthew 24:4-14).

Let us look at Luke's wording (specifically to the Apostles) after Jesus tells what to be watchful for over the next 2,000-plus years/two days.

But before all these, they shall lay their hands on you, and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name's sake. And it shall turn to you for a testimony. Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer: For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren, and kinsfolks, and friends; and some of you shall they cause to be put to death. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake. But there shall not an hair of your head perish. In your patience possess ye your souls (Luke 21:12-19).

BUT BEFORE ALL THESE, false Christs, wars, great earthquakes, famines, pestilences, and great signs from Heaven, know that the desolation thereof is near, Jesus warns the Apostles. He continues,

And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land [Israel], and wrath upon this people [Hebrews]. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations [Diaspora]: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (Luke 21:20-24).

BUT BEFORE ALL THESE, Jesus' warning in Matthew reads,

pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation [suffering; distress], such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time [first 4,000 years], no, nor ever shall be [in that magnitude to the Hebrew people in Israel]. And except those days should be shortened [4-1/2 to 5 months of days to bring down Jerusalem], there should no flesh be saved [about a million Jews perished]: but for the elect's [the Godly people at that time] sake those days shall be shortened (Matthew 24:20-22).

Let us first take into consideration two facts: (1) the Hebrew people had turned their backs on the God of their fathers, murdered His prophets, and after Malachi, God had not spoken to them for 400 years because of their sins; and (2) God's only begotten Son (Vineyard Owner's Son in Luke 20) was rejected by His own people, and was slain. Therefore, vengeance had to be carried out against those that slew Him because that was the end of God contending with them.

A certain man [God The Father] planted a vineyard, and let it forth to husbandmen [Hebrews/Jews], and went into a far country for a long time. And at the season he sent a servant [Prophets] to the husbandmen, that they should give him of the fruit of the vineyard: but the husbandmen beat him, and sent him away empty. And again he sent another servant [Prophets]: and they beat him also, and entreated him shamefully, and sent him away empty. And again he sent a third [Prophets]: and they wounded him also, and cast him out. Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son [Messiah Jesus]: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. But when the husbandmen saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, This is the heir: come, let us kill him, that the inheritance may be our's. So they cast him out of the vineyard [crucified outside the city], and killed him. What therefore shall the lord of the vineyard do unto them? He shall come and destroy these husbandmen, and shall give the vineyard to others [Believers in Messiah Jesus - Christians]. And when they heard it, they said, God forbid (Luke 20:9-16).

To destroy the Husbandmen that killed the Vinyard Owner's Son, was precisely what God The Father did when He poured out His wrath upon the nation of Israel. Rejecting Messiah Jesus was "the straw that broke the camel's back." Remember Luke 21:22-24 where our Lord says that (1) these be the days of vengeance, (2) there will be great distress in the land and wrath upon "this people" - the Jews of that day, and (3) they will die by the sword, be lead away captive into ALL nations, and Jerusalem to be trodden down of the Gentiles (heathens/Roman soldiers). That prophecy was of God's judgment upon the nation of Israel for its sins, and rejection and slaying of His Prophets and His only begotten Son, their Messiah Jesus.

With regard to "the abomination of desolation," Matthew lets us know that it is the same prophecy spoken of by Daniel: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place…(Matthew 24:15). In A.D. 70, the city of Jerusalem was destroyed and the Temple was "completely" destroyed. Completely! Yes, the Wailing Wall or Western Wall is still standing, but, that wall is a retaining wall (supports the area upon which the Temple was built), and is not the Jewish Temple. If that wall were the Temple, that disputes Jesus' prophecy that "there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall be thrown down." The Jewish Temple in Jerusalem is gone as of A.D. 70. It was completely destroyed by the Roman soldiers under the leadership of Titus. It was destroyed brick-by-brick because of all the melted gold and silver streaming down as a result of the fire set by Titus' soldiers. The gold and silver ran down between the rocks and into the cracks of the stones, and out of the soldiers' greediness for the gold and silver, they took the Temple apart just to get the gold from between the cracks. Let us stop a moment to look at another word of prophecy Jesus spoke concerning what was going to happen to the Jews, their city, and their temple, and why it was going to happen.

Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify [Himself, Messiah Jesus]; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues [Apostles and Christians], and persecute them from city to city [Apostles and Christians]: That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zachariah son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation….Behold your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, BLESSED IS HE THAT COMETH IN THE NAME OF THE LORD (Matthew 23:33-39).

From this prophecy by Jesus, you have to conclude that the abomination of desolation had to have taken place at the hands of the Romans because the transgressors had committed the ultimate abomination - the slaying of the Vineyard Owner's Son, Messiah Jesus. The question now is, what led up to this? It is now time for a lesson in history.

Daniel's Seventy Weeks Already Fulfilled

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness [through Messiah Jesus, only], and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy [baptism of Messiah Jesus]. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off [crucified, confirmed New Covenant], but not for himself [salvation of many]: and the people of the prince [Romans] that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood [persecution], and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate (Daniel 9:24-27).

Seventy weeks pertain to "thy people" the Jews, and "thy holy city" Jerusalem o-n-l-y when it comes to the fulfilling of Matthew 24:15-22; Mark 13:14-20; and Luke 21:20-24.

(Church, this is also our cue in the last of the last days before the Antichrist makes war against us.). This prophecy was for the first advent of Messiah Jesus, and not the second advent. A week is seven years in the Biblical sense. When Jacob had already worked seven years for Rachel, whom he didn't get, he confronted Laban concerning the trickery, and Laban said to him: Fulfil her week [seven years], and we will give thee this also for the service which thou shalt serve with me yet seven other years (Genesis 29:27). I said that to say this, "seventy weeks" is 490 years total (a week of 7 years x 70 weeks of years = 490 years total).

Augusta Cook summarized the Seventy Weeks as he quotes from Josephus' Wars of The Jews:

Altogether there were four decrees issued. One was by Cyrus and the second by Darius the Mede, but both these decrees were too early to be intended, for considerably more than 490 years elapsed between the decree of Cyrus and the coming of Christ. The Emperor Artaxerxes issued two decrees for the restoration of Jerusalem, the first and more important of the two decrees being dated 457 B.C. Let us reckon 490 years from that, and to what period do we come? We come to the year 34 A.D. That, of course, is the end of the seventy weeks - the 490 years - with the cutting off of Christ. The cutting off of Christ was to take place before the 490 years had ended - three and a half years previously. In the 24th verse we read that 'seventy weeks are determined upon thy people to…seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy.' The anointing of Christ was the unction of the Holy Ghost that was given Him at His baptism. This occurred about the year 27 A.D., and then in the middle of that seven years, three years after the baptism, or in the year 30 A.D., at the time of the Passover, Christ was crucified, 'cut off, but not for Himself.'* Then it was that He confirmed the covenant with many. Did He not, just before He suffered, take the cup and say that this was the cup of the New Covenant? And by His sacrifice on Calvary He caused the sacrifice and oblation to cease for ever. All the old types and shadows of the Mosaic and Levitical laws found their consummation in Him; from hencefoth there could be no definitely appointed sacrifice. He had caused it to cease once and for ever…No other sacrifice that is offered after the sacrifice of Calvary is of any avail whatsoever.

The result of the cutting-off of Christ, His death on Calvary, was foreordained of God for the sins of the world, and yet those who perpetrated so terrible an iniquity could not go unscathed or unpunished, and thus we read in [Daniel 9] ver. 26, 'And the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.' In the last verse of all we read, 'For the overspreading of abominations He shall make it desloate.' We know that the result of the crucifixion of Christ has been the desolation of Jerusalem and the dispersion of the House of Judah, who crucified Him.

* The remainder of the week to 34 A.D. was employed in the Ascension of our Lord, Pentecost and early formation of the Christian Church:

(LIGHT FROM THE BOOK OF DANIEL ON HISTORY PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE. A Course of Twelve Lectures delivered in Central Hall, Westminster, 1915-16. Cook, Augusta, 2nd edition, London, 1927, pp 172-3.)

That was clearly the wrath of God, Vineyard Owner, upon Israel and Jerusalem (Husbandmen) that had persecuted and slain His prophets and His Son, Jesus. Men, women, and children lost their lives by fire, famine, and many were outright slain by the sword, and hundreds even crucified daily for going out into the valleys to collect food because of the famine. Somewhere in the neighborhood of one million people lost their lives - "except those days be shortened, should no flesh be saved." The Jewish flesh that was left had to be rescued so that the nation could go on with a remnant left in the land while the rest was dispersed. If this Daniel prophecy was for the end time, saving souls through Revival would have been the order of the day for the Millennium Kingdom, and not the horrible wrath. Please think on that! Again, this was the fulfilling of Matthew 24:15-22; Mark 13:14-20; and Luke 21:20-24.

It [Temple] was burned on the tenth of August, A.D. 70 [according to the Hebrew calendar or September 24 Julian calendar date], the same day of the year on which, according to tradition, the first temple was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar. 'No one,' says Josephus, 'can conceive a louder, more terrible shriek than arose from all sides during the burning of the temple. The shout of victory and the jubilee of the legions sounded through the wailing of the people, now surrounded with fire and sword, upon the mountain, and throuhout the city…The hill on which the temple stood was seething hot, and seemed enveloped to its base in one sheet of flame. The blood was larger in quantity than the fire, and those that were slain more in number than those that slew them. The ground was nowhere visible. All was covered with corpses; over these heaps the soldiers pursued the fugitives.'

The Romans planted their eagles on the shapeless ruins, over against the eastern gate, offered their sacrifices to them, and proclaimed Titus Imperator with the greatest acclamations of joy. Thus was fulfilled the prophecy concerning the abomination of desolation standing in the holy place.

Jerusalem was razed to the ground; only three towers of the palace of Herod…together with a portion of the western wall, were left as monuments of the strength of the conquered city….

Josephus, who went through the war himself from beginning to end…recognized in this tragical event a divine judgment and admitted of his degenerate countrymen, to whom he was otherwise sincerely attached: 'I will not hesitate to say what gives me pain: I believe that, had the Romans delayed their punishment of these villains, the city would have been swallowed up by the earth, or overwhelmed with a flood, or, like Sodom, consumed with fire from heaven. For the generation which was in it was far more ungodly than the men on whom these punishments had in former times fallen. By their madness the whole nation came to be ruined.' (History of the Christian Church, Volume I. Schaff, Philip (quotes from Josephus' Wars of the Jews, V, and VI). 1890, p. 398.)

Interjection: We know that God doesn't dwell in temple buildings anymore, but now dwells in individual temples/bodies of Believers. At this point, the Jews are planning to rebuild another Temple, and why I don't claim to know except that it may be for fulfilling Revelation 11:1-2. This is the only natural Temple referenced in Revelation, for it alone speaks of them that worship therein and the outer court not being measured since it is given to the Gentiles for 3-1/2 years during The Tribulation. I do know that prophecies about the destruction of the Temple, Jerusalem, and the Diaspora of the Jews has been fulfilled. In fact, God brought them back to the land and officially returned it to them in 1948. God is not going to pluck them up again, for it is nowhere written in His Word; besides, there isn't enough time left for that. The Diaspora followed the destruction back in A.D. 70.

A few words about Titus. Titus believed God for assistance in knocking down the Jewish rebellion of the poor against the rich, and against Rome. (A History of New Testament Times In Palestine, edited by Shailer Mathews, 1914.) It is recorded that Titus said, "We have certainly had God for our assistant in this war, and it was no other than God who ejected the Jews out of these fortifications; for what could the hands of man or any machines do towards overthrowing these towers?" (The Works of Flavius Josephus; War of the Jews, Book 6, Chapter 9.) Titus was right! Remember the phrases "vengeance", "distress in the land", and "wrath upon this people?" God allowed it to happen. It was as the Jewish people had spoken upon themselves in Matthew 27:25, "His blood be on us, and on our children." So it was! So have the seventy weeks of Daniel been fulfilled.

Daniel VIII Already Fulfilled

The Romans rose to power with no set plan for world conquest. After the Babylonian Empire came the Media-Persia Empire, for it was this group that wrenched the kingdom out of Babylon's hands. This was the Ram with the two horns (Daniel 8:20). Then set out Alexander The Great of Macedon (Greece) to conquer the Media-Persia Empire. Alexander is the rough goat of Grecia (Greece) with the great horn between his eyes (Daniel 8:21). The "great horn" between his eyes meant Alexander was the first Macedonian king to enter into Greek politics. "Now that being broken, whereas four stood up for it, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not in his power" (Daniel 8:22). "Being broken" meant the death of Alexander, after which "four stood up for it" - meaning, the kingdom was divided into four heads who happened to have been four of Alexander's eight or nine generals/officers. These generals were constantly fighting one another to gain control of territory, but in the end the four generals that are representative of those four horns were the more powerful ones that established dynasties. They were (1) Ptolemy, (2) Seleucus (Asia, Asia Minor, and Palestine - Heads of the Seleucid Dynasty were either named Selecus or Antiochus), (3) Lysimachus, and (4) Cassander (inherited from his father, Antipater who was one of Alexander's great generals). These leaders were commonly called the Diadochi (successors), and they ruled for about 300 years.

Daniel 8:23-25 is the prophesying of the Seleucid Dynasty of the four divided kingdoms of Alexander The Great. The kings of this Dynasty or Kingdom were called either Selecus or Antiocus, and I might add here that, out of this dynasty, the Roman Empire arose. "The Seleucid Empire…continually lost territory through war or rebellion, until it was reduced to Palestine, Syria, and Mesopotamia in 129 B.C. It continued to decline until annexed by Rome in 64 B.C." (Compton Encyclopedia - Internet).

Therefore the he goat waxed very great: and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. And out of one of them came forth a little horn, which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land. And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven; and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them. Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of his sanctuary was cast down. And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression, and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practised, and prospered. Then I heard one saint speaking, and another saint said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot? And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed (Daniel 8:8-14).

Follows is what the author Milton Terry had to say about the above Scriptures in Daniel:

A little horn, which waxed exceeding great - …as springing out of the kingdom of Greece [Seleucid Dynasty],…represent the notorious Antiochus Epiphanes. The south here points most naturally to Egypt, whither Antiochus carried successful wars….The east - Referring to Armenia and Elymais, whither he went on military expeditions of conquest…The glorious land - …Ezek. xx, 6, 15; Zech. vii, 14. A poetic name for Palestine, which the Jew regarded as the 'glory of all lands'….The continual daily service consisted in a burnt offering of one lamb in the morning and another in the evening….According to Josephus (Wars of the Jews, Book I, i, I), Antiochus Epiphanes 'spoiled the temple, and put a stop to the constant practice of offering a daily sacrifice of expiation for three years and six months.' This also explains how the place of his sanctuary was cast down. In I Macc. i, 39, it is said 'the sanctuary was laid waste like a wilderness.' The temple was not destroyed by Antiochus, but 'he took away the golden altar, and the candlestick, and all the vessels thereof, and the table of showbread, and stripped the temple of all the ornaments of gold' (I Macc. i, 21, 22)….a hostile host was set or placed over…the daily sacrifice, substituting in its place an idolatrous worship. This was done by the armed forces of Antiochus when 'they set up the abomination of desolation upon the altar, and builded idol altars throughout the cities of Judah' (I Macc. i. 54), and sacrificed swine's flesh thereon…. (The Prophecies of Daniel Expounded. Terry, Milton S., Hunt and Eaton, New York, 1893, pp 59-62.)

From this we know without a doubt that Antiochus Epiphanes was that little horn in Daniel 8:9, that came out of one of the four notable horns (four generals and their dynasties) of Alexander The Great's Empire. Further in Daniel 8, the Angel is explaining the earlier vision in that chapter, and it reads:

And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors [Jews] are come to the full, a king [Antiochus] of fierce countenance [strong and unbending], and understanding dark sentences [versed in deception, flattery and fraud], shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power [God gave him power for a time as He did Nebuchadnezzar]: and he shall destroy wonderfully [whatever he set out to destroy, he did so precisely and quickly], and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people [the only people on earth with the One True God]. And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand (Daniel 8:23-35).

The writer, Milton Terry has this to say about the last verse above:

All this refers to the well-known skill of Antiochus in statecraft. He not only 'obtained the kingdom by flatteries,' but was full of subtlety and mischief in his dealings. In security destroy many. In this supposed security, or when these many suspected no attack, he suddenly turned his destructive forces on them. This is illustrated by the record if I Macc. i, 30, f., where it is said that the officer of Antiochus came to Jerusalem with a large army and spoke peaceable words to the Jews, and when he had deceitfully won their confidence he suddenly fell upon the city and destroyed a multitude of the people…. (The Prophecies of Daniel Expounded. Terry, Milton S., Hunt and Eaton, New York, 1893, p 69.)

Note: This took place between the time God last spoke through Malachi and before speaking again through John The Baptist and His Son, Jesus. The people of Israel continued in their rebellion in spite of the troubles around and against them.

Daniel XI Already Fulfilled

There was at least a dozen kings of the Media-Persian empire, but the four mentioned in Daniel 11:2 were possibly Cambyses, Smerdis, Darius Hystaspis and the fourth, that was far richer, being Xerxes who led a half-million men against Greece in the battles of Thermopylae and Salamis.

And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those (Daniel 11:3-4).

This mighty king, of course, was Alexander The Great's kingdom and its division after his death. This is that same Alexander in Daniel 8:22, "the rough goat' and the four kingdoms that came out of him. Verses 5 and 6 speak of the King of the South and of the North. The King of the South is the generations of the Ptolemaic Dynasty/Empire who secured Egypt and the whole region South of Israel. The King of the North is the generations of the Seleucid Dynasty/Empire. In the Seleucid Dynasty, keep in mind, the kings were either name Seleucus or Antiochus - all the same family. This kingdom occupied the region opposite the southland which would be north (Asia Minor, Babylon, Assyria, Media, Persia). Also in Verse 6 is an intermarriage between these two families - Berenice, daughter of Ptolemy II marries Antiochus II. (Go to the following web site for detail information on this fulfillment: http://www.ccel.org/h/henry/mhc2/MHC27011.HTM).

Going on to Daniel 11:36-38, you are about to learn that this is not speaking of the Antichrist or Beast in Daniel 7 and Revelation 13, and nor is it some future Jewish man. That is so incorrect.

And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all. But in his estate shall he honour the God of forces: and a god whom his fathers knew not shall he honour with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain (Daniel 11:36-39).

We go back to the writer Milton S. Terry and get his take on this. Again, prayerfully and in my spirit, I am in complete agreement with his research and writing. He says,

Magnify himself….Although the Greek and Latin historians speak of the piety of Antiochus Epiphanes and his large gifts to the temples, the Jewish writer sees him in a very different light….Speak marvelous things - Amazing for their daring insolence and presumption. Till the indignation be accomplished - The reference is to God's indignation against his people….What is determined shall be done….What God has decreed shall certainly come to pass.

37. Toward the gods of his fathers he will not show regard…show intelligent respect for…The manner in which he showed disrespect for his father's gods is probably to be gathered from what is said in the next verse. He introduced a new diety. The desire of women - The reference is either to some female goddess, as the 'queen of heaven'…or some diety beloved by women. Probably the Syrian Nanaea, or perhaps Tammuz.

38. In his place…'on its pedestal'….God of fortresses - Probably referring to the Roman diety Jupiter Capitolinus, with whose worship Antiochus became familiar at Rome, and for whom he purposed to erect a costly temple at Antioch. Even a god whom his fathers knew not - This seems to refer to the same god of fortresses just mentioned, but added for the purpose of fuller description….He will greatly honor, and make them rule over many - This was the well-known policy of Antiochus. He promoted to positions of honor and authority such as he found willing to cooperate with him in his ambitious schemes. Divide the land for a price - According to I Macc. iii, 36, Antiochus commissioned Lysias, one of his favorites, to place foreign people in Judah and Jerusalem and divide the land by lot among them. (The Prophecies of Daniel Expounded. Terry, Milton S., Hunt and Eaton, New York, 1893, pp 116-118.)

As you continue reading beyond these verses in Daniel, there is continued talk about the King of the South and the King of the North. Church, Daniel XI has been fulfilled!

In conclusion, the abomination that maketh desolate and the seventy full weeks of Daniel have come to pass. To this day, it has nothing to do with the Israeli settlers living on the West Bank, as I've heard a radio prophecy preacher proclaim, and it has nothing to do with the planned rebuilding of the Jewish Temple. Because of the transgression of The Law, the slaying of the prophets, and last, the Vineyard Owner's Son's rejection and death, the abomination that maketh desolate has been fulfilled, and all of the seventy weeks of Daniel as well. Yes, there is a very soon-coming Antichrist, but he will not sit in the Temple that the Jews are planning to rebuild and call himself God, but will sit in the temples/hearts of individual followers of his empire, and surely be their god. It is over! It was Antiocus Epiphanes who thought he was God manifested and committed the abominable acts in the Temple at Jerusalem.

A word to The Church about Matthew 24:15-21, that was specifically for the Jews after the death of Messiah Jesus. True those Scriptures of prophecy were for them, but they serve a dual purpose. Our day of persecution or Satan's vengeance on us is fast coming, and we must be prepared to follow through on what Christ warned the Jews to do and not do. Those Scriptures are now warnings to us, The Saints, and the temple is our personal, physical bodies. As we continue to see apostasy in The Church (made up of individual temples), know that it's the abomination of desolation in the individual temple of Believers, and know that The Tribulation is at the door.

As for the signs of the end of this world as we know it to be, and just before Jesus' Millennial Reign (Matthew 24:23-31, Mark 13:24-29, and Luke 21:25-28), it is clearly stated that these events will take place right at the end of the Great Tribulation, and then Messiah is to come for a second time as He prophesied to His Apostles. (More on this is a future message.)

Satan Is Now On Second Level Heaven

From the Scriptures, we can safely conclude that there is more than one level of Heaven and no more than two.  Moses, Nehemiah, Solomon, and the Psalmist spoke of two Heavens:

Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's thy God, the earth also, with all that therein is (Deuteronomy 10:14).

Thou, even thou, art LORD alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens  (Nehemiah 9:6).

But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him [God] (II Chronicles 2:6, 6:18; I Kings 8:27)?

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's: but the earth hath he given to the children of men (Psalm 115:16).

Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens (Psalm 148:4)

It can safely be concluded that Heaven is as the Hebrew word for firmament defines:  Raqiya meaning the visible arch of the sky.  This visible arch is between earth and what is known as the sky from which the moon and the stars hang (Genesis 1:14-15) and is called Heaven in Genesis 1:6. Heaven is that which humans can see from the earth.

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void....And God said, Let there be a firmament [arch above the earth] in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters [under the firmament (Genesis 17)] from the waters [above the firmament (Genesis 1:7)]….And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day (Genesis 1:1-8).

Other Scriptures that substantiate the sky above earth to be Heaven are

the fowls [that you can see] of the Heaven (Psalm 104:12).
His glory is above the earth and Heaven (Psalm 148:13).

Psalm 148:13 points to another level above that which humans are able to see.  Humans can see the earth and the heaven from which the stars and moon hang but cannot see above that arch. Again, this place called Heaven is above in the position whereby humans can see with the naked eye all that is in that realm with the exception of the throne where Satan sits with his demons unless God opens it up to them in the spirit.

Church, surely God would not have a corner set apart for Satan on the same level of Heaven that He sits because He cannot be near darkness or evil, and that Satan is.  When Lucifer/Satan rebelled against God, he was tossed out of the Heaven of Heavens - not into hell, but to a lower level of Heaven – the second level of Heaven or the firmament. Jesus witnessed the fall: “I beheld Satan as lightning fall from Heaven” (Luke 10:18). It was not said that Satan fell to the earth nor was sent to hell, but that he fell from Heaven – the Heaven of Heavens where God sits on His throne that was long established before God created Satan and before He created Heaven/the firmament. Satan fell to a lower level of Heaven or what you might call the second level of Heaven – the firmament; and because he is a “spirit” being, humans cannot see his throne as they can see the stars and the moon in the Heaven.  (There are times when God opens up the spirit realm to humans.)

When Lucifer fell he was permitted to set up his kingdom in the next or the lower level of Heaven while some of the fallen angels were locked up in hell. Satan or Lucifer was never sent to hell. In Revelation  12:3-9 we see where Satan will be cast out from Heaven to earth and woe to the inhabitants in the last days. Mind you now, he will be cast out from Heaven and not the Heaven of Heavens where God sits on His throne (Psalm 11:4; Isaiah 66:1).

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars* of heaven, and did cast them to the earth…. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:3-9).      (*Another clue that Satan is in that realm or area.)

The writer was disinclined to refer to II Corinthinas 12:2 where Apostle Paul speaks of the Third Heaven.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the bady, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven (II Corinthians 12:2).

1.      Because of the numerous times both the Old and New Testaments speak of Heaven and Heaven of Heavens, only once is reference made to the new revelation, the Third Heaven.  (Keep in mind, that Jesus did not reveal such a place when He was here on earth thus leaving such a revelation not from God if it has no other parallel to it in The Bible. Jesus did not go back to Heaven and send new revelations that don't lineup with the Gospel.)

2.      Because, Paul the Pharisee of Pharisees had studied, without a doubt, the ancient Jewish or Rabbinical (apocryphal/pseudepigrapha) teachings that were produced (orally and written) during the time God was not speaking to Israel (400 years between Malachi and Jesus).  If God wasn’t speaking, then who was?  It’s only two voices out there, remember.  It is through these writings that one becomes acquainted with the “Seven Heavens” and what takes place in each of them. For example, Third Heaven references:

And the men took me from there.  They brought me up to the third heaven.  And they placed me in the midst of Paradise (Charlesworth, James H. (ed). “II Enoch 8,” Old Testament Pseudepigrapha, Vol. 1.  Doubleday, New York, 1983, p 115).

And he took me up into the third heaven(Charlesworth, James H. (ed). “Martyrdom and Ascension of Isaiah,” Old Testament Pseudepigrapha, Vol. 2.  Doubleday, New York, 1985, p 167).

3.      Apostle Paul spoke of the Third Heaven and the conclusion drawn from what he wrote and what is in the Old Testament is that Paul extracted that from the Jewish teaching on the Seven Heavens.

Jesus said:  "behold, I have foretold you all things" (Mark 13:23).

Seal 6 - Satan Cast Down To The Earth

The midway point in The Tribulation is the place in time where the Two Olive Trees and the Two Candlesticks have finished their testimony - the Great Revival ended. The Sixth Seal will be opened and Satan let loose!

And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; And the stars of heaven [fallen angels/demons] fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind (Revelation 6:12-13).

This is God shaking the heavens and the earth in the day of His fierce anger. The sun and moon losing their light is God beginning to judge the wicked - punish the world for their evil and iniquity (Isaiah 13:9-13). Saints of God, we know that Satan is no man's friend; he is not even a true friend to those that worship him. What does he do? He turns on all mankind. I said that to say, yes, Satan will persecute the Holy People of God (Olive Trees and Candlesticks), but his primary job will be to carry out God's judgment upon the wicked - his so called friends.

And the kings [leaders] of the earth, and the great men [those in position and with power], and the rich men [influential], and the chief captains [politicians], and the mighty men [fake religious people], and every bondman [New Agers/One World-ers], and every free man [those not yet sporting the mark of the beast], hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains (Revelation 6:15).

Why do you suppose they will hide? Let's have them tell you.

And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne [God The Father], and from the wrath of the Lamb [Jesus]: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand (Revelation 16:17)?

Satan has his "work cut out for him" and he will be enjoying every moment of it.

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven [the Second Heaven]. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Revelation 12:7-9).

Verses 7 and 8 of Revelation makes it known that (1) there will be a battle in Heaven - the Second Heaven, that is; (2) Satan and his angels/stars will lose to Michael the Archangel and his angels; and (3) Satan and company will no longer have a place in the Second Heaven; they will be cast down to earth.

Before Satan goes to earth, the Word says, "there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon [Satan] ...And his tail drew the third part of the stars [fallen angels/demons] of heaven" (Revelation 12:3-4).  In other words, Satan will choose the fallen angels/princes and "worker demons" he wants to follow him to earth. The Greek word for DREW is suro, meaning to trail, and suro is akin to haireomai, meaning to prefer or choose, or to take for oneself. Instead of the Greek word for stars, I chose the Hebrew word for STARS, kowkab, meaning prince. On the "dark side", a prince is a ruler of a territory or principality. Let's look at the word "prince" so that it is painfully clear who the Scripture is speaking of:

PRINCE as "the prince of the kingdom of Persia…" in Daniel 10:13, withstood an angel of the Lord's for 21 days before one of the Chief Princes of God's, Michael the Archangel, joined in the fight.

PRINCE as "Beelzebub the prince of the devils" (Matthew 12:24).

These stars or princes are fallen - they are demonic and in league with Satan. Beelzebub the prince and one-third of his princes/stars will be cast down to the earth or thrown down to earth.

The Great Red Dragon with the 7 heads and 10 horns, and with 7 crowns upon his heads (Revelation 12:3), is non other than that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan as in Revelation 12:9. So, coming very soon to earth will be some of the host or some of the company of demons who are high ranking stars/princes, whose job it will be to stamp upon or persecute Spiritual Israel (Woman) and her Man Child (Covenant People - Olive Trees/Candlesticks) of Revelation 12:4.

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground [earth], which didst weaken the nations [deceived to follow One World Government]! For thou has said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God:* I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit [at the end of the Millennial Reign]. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners [kept the sinners bound to him]? (Isaiah 14:12-17).

*The pride of Satan made him rebel against God by thinking he could take over God's throne and rule over all the Angels.

This Scripture is not speaking of what has already taken place, but what is to very soon take place. This is when Satan will be CUT DOWN TO THE GROUND - sent to the earth where men dwell so that he can do God's work of wrath against the wicked, and make war against the Saints of God. (Reminder: persecution of the Saints will be our final test of faith in all of God's Gospel.) This will be the beginning of the last three and one-half years of The Tribulation - The Great Tribulation. Revelation 12:7-10 confirms Isaiah 14 that tells us Satan is cast to the earth. (Be forewarned, that surge of so-called "aliens" will be none other than Satan and his demons or fallen stars that are cast to the earth.)

And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night (Revelation 12:10).

Cast down! Cut down! Cast out! But where to? Revelation 12:8 has already told us that the Dragon, Satan, and his angels were cast out into the earth. Further confirmation of this,

Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time [3-1/2 YEARS]. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman [Spiritual Israel] which brought forth the man child [Covenant People/Olive Trees and Candlesticks] (Revelation 12:12-13).

Satan will be very, very angry, and will take it out on the Saints of God who are in covenant with God (Man Child/Olive Trees and Candlesticks), and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Satan will be in the earth with "great wrath" meaning he will slaughter exceedingly for any purpose. (The Greek word for great is megas and means exceedingly or mighty. Wrath in Greek is thumos from thuo, and means to slaughter for any purpose.) In Satan's war against the Saints, to overcome them, it will be him having his turn to dissuade the followers of The Lord and destroy them if and when he can. The Beast will have 3-1/2 years to do his job on earth. "and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months" (Revelation 13:5). This is now time for dreadful persecution of the Holy People. "it was given unto him [Beast] to make war with the saints, and to overcome them…" (Revelation 13:7). (See also Daniel 7:21,25; Matthew 24:9.)

The Fourth Empire And Its Predecessors

What is an empire? An empire is a central government with a common language, system of law, and the countries within it are loyal. Empires have a major cultural impact on human beings. After the Babylonian Empire, only the Greek Empire (art, literature, science, and philosophy) and the Roman Empire (warfare, engineering, and government) had such a major impact upon the people of the nations, even until this day. Based on the makeup of a great empire, or kingdom, Media-Persia is therefore not considered one of the four great kingdoms of the Beast that are listed in Daniel 7. Did you not notice that the fourth beast or kingdom was not given a name of an animal? Of course, there have been many ruling world governments, ruling to the extent the world was at that time respectively, but only the Babylonian, Greek, and Roman ruling empires impacted peoples by leaving their cultures intermingled with the conquered, which was what made them great above all others. So therefore, the four great kingdoms are (1) Babylonian, (2) Greek/Macedonian, (3) Roman, and the soon to be (4) "One World Government" - the Dragon Empire.

The Great Image in Nebucadnezzar's dream of Daniel 2 was of four strengths or kingdoms/empires represented by: (1) Gold, (2) Silver, (3) Brass, and (4) Iron and Clay mixed. (See Illustration 3-1 at the end of this Part 3.) Daniel's dream in Chapter 7:3 is of four beasts coming up from the sea (nations or masses of people), and each being diverse from the other. "These great beasts, which are four, are four kings, which shall arise out of the earth" (Daniel 7:17). The fact that they arise out of the earth confirms that these will be human beings that will be four kings over these kingdoms/empires.

The Beasts are kings, and the first three beasts over the world kingdoms are (1) Lion - Babylonian Empire; (2) Bear - Greek/Macedonian Empire; (3) Leopard - Roman Empire, and (4) was given no name but the writer will call it "Dragon Empire" for the One World Government, and will tell you why shortly. Although Daniel did not label the fourth beast or empire, he defined his character.

a fourth beast, dreadful, and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and break in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns (Daniel 7:7).

the fourth beast, which was diverse from all the others, exceeding dreadful, whose teeth were of iron, and his nails of brass; which devoured, brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with his feet (Daniel 7:19).

the fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces (Daniel 7:23).

(Daniel 7:7)
Dragon/Satan gave  his
power to the Beast
kingdom now named
Iron/Dragon
(Revelation 13:2)

These are world empires - the four great beasts that rose up out of the sea - being as "Leviathan the piercing serpent [Devil], even Leviathan that CROOKED serpent; and he [God] shall slay the dragon that is in the SEA" (Isaiah 27:1). Leviathan is a type of Satan, that Great Red Dragon, who out of pride thought he could overthrow the Almighty God. Job 41 speaks of Leviathan and the last verse 34 says," he is a king over all the children of PRIDE." He is a king - a king over those that are like him; prideful. It is pride that makes anyone rebel against God. Pride is in those following after the Antichrist. The sea that these beasts come up from is INIQUITY - DARKNESS, a sea of sin in the world.

strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided [political and religious]; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were of iron and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle [give or be security] themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay (Daniel 2:40-43).

This fourth kingdom will be divided, and will be partly strong and party fragile due to the two divisions and their differing perspectives on life. There will be a political and a religious head, and both will respect each other's leadership. Although these two leaders will have power over all the people of the world, they will not be dependent on each other and neither will one attempt to overtake the other (this is the iron not mixing with clay). These two leaders will not be "best buds" in accomplishing Satan's goals because Demons are simply not friendly toward each other - absolutely no love.

Let us again look at Daniel 7:23: "Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. How diverse from his predecessors will he be? ...[he] shall devour the whole earth [one world government] and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces." This Beast will be very different from the other three because his makeup is part of each of the three previous beasts, thus making him far stronger, the most fearsome; plus the fact that he will be the glorified ideal of Satan himself.

The fourth beast of the Dragon Empire will be larger than all previous beasts; huge and spouting out fire, and will have a huge amount of territory to govern - he will DEVOUR THE WHOLE EARTH. He will consume or bring under his control a-l-l - "gobble up" so to speak. His consumption of the peoples of the earth, except the True Saints, will be because they will have consented first of all to government leadership having a say in their day-to-day lives instead of the True God and His High Holy Standard.

The fourth beast treading the earth down means he will oppress the inhabitants, and this will be through political, social, and economic control. "Breaking in pieces" by this Beast will be the cruelty he will inflict upon them (including the Saints when he can get to them), and God will allow this. "I will send him [the enemy/Satan/AntiChrist] against an hypocritical nation, and against the people of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil and to take the prey, and to tread them down like the mire of the streets" (Isaiah 10:6). The "transgressors having come to the full", the Beast stands up to do what must be done toward them in the way of judgment from God, and while at it, persecute the Saints so that they are brought into the fullness of trust in The Lord for their survival.

The Revived Roman Empire - Yes or No?

Now hear this! This Fourth Beast is not a "Revived Roman Empire" as many prophecy teachers and preachers say. The Word of God in Daniel 7:23 says, "The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth..." not a continuation of the third kingdom, but a fourth and different kingdom. The Scripture goes on to say, "The fourth beast...shall be diverse [different] from all kingdoms." Diverse means this fourth beast will be of a different character - totally different qualities. Therefore, the "Revived Roman Empire" theory is refuted. Please think this over. There has only been one resurrection in the Bible and that was Jesus Christ. God goes ahead and not backwards in all He oversees; for Him to go back to the third empire and resurrect it, would be totally out of His character (not that anyone can figure out God's moves). The fourth empire will be a new empire because it will be headed personally by Satan himself since he will have been cast out of the Second Heaven down to earth. That alone is the reason this fourth beast will be so fierce - he will be Satan incarnate. We also know that this empire is stronger and different by the natural ore used to refer to his strength. Look closely:

Babylonian Empire - GOLD: Soft, yellow, corrosion and resistant. Highly malleable and ductile metallic element. Symbolized as having great value or goodness.

Greek Empire - SILVER:  Lustrous - white; ductile. Malleable metallic element. Symbolized as eloquently persuasive.

Roman Empire - BRASS: Alloy of copper and zinc with other metals in varying or lesser amounts. Symbolized as blatant self-assurance (bold; effrontery; brazenly obvious; self-confident).

Dragon  Empire - IRON ("strong as iron"): Silvery-white, lustrous, malleable, ductile, magnetic metallic element. Symbolized as something of great hardness or great strength; rigid or unyielding.

Notice the composition of the metals previous to that of the Dragon and how they declined in value as it went from one empire to the next. With the declination in value of these metals, the empires became more and more coarse or hardened, or callous - UNFEELING; HARD AND STUBBORN - MORE BRUTAL.

This fourth beast of iron will never do as the Babylonian King (gold) did when he allowed the Jews to rebuild their temple and gave them back all the templewares for it. This fourth beast of iron will never do as Alexander The Great (silver) did when he opted not to take Jerusalem captive after the High Priest showed him a description of himself in the Book of Daniel. This fourth beast of Iron will never do as the Roman government (brass) did when it allowed the Jews to continue practicing their faith in God and using their own law to judge their own people. This fourth empire of iron will be rigid, unyielding, and non-compromising - much worse than Adolph Hitler and the Third Reich. He will bring havoc upon all peoples. This fourth beast of iron will be most fierce because he will be the embodiment of Satan himself and it can't get any worse than that!

Some things this fourth beast will do: He will accomplish scattering the power of the holy people. The "holy people" will have exhibited to the world, the power of God during the great revival. Once again, scatter means break in pieces. Satan's intent with a passion is to BREAK IN PIECES/DESTROY the Saints of God/the holy people, and he will come close to doing so through the Beast - the Antichrist. "And they overcame him [Dragon/Beast/Political Anti-Christ] by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death" (Revelation 12:11). (The Saints will be covered in the next message.)

The Whole Earth Under His Rule

The kingdom which Daniel had no name for, will have the WHOLE EARTH under his rule - THE ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT - NEW WORLD ORDER.

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads (Revelation 12:3).

THE GREAT RED DRAGON IS SATAN.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and satan…(Revelation 20:2).

This fourth kingdom is now the DRAGON Kingdom because that Great Red Dragon, Satan, gave his power to the Beast/King of the One World Government.

Revelation 13:1-2

Daniel 7:23-24

And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea [nations of people], having seven heads [divisions] and ten horns [kings/leaders], and upon his horns ten crowns [not a crown of glory, but of whoredom], and upon his heads the name of blasphemy. And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard [Roman Empire], and his feet were as the feet of a bear [Macedonian/Greek Empire], and his mouth as the mouth of a lion [Babylonian Empire] and the dragon [Satan] gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority. Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings  that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

This empire/kingdom will be divided into10 divisions/regions that will be headed by 10 kings or leaders (Ten Horns with 10 crowns on them). The 10 crowns on the heads of the Division Kings will signify their whoredom (loyalty) with the Beast. It will, however, eventually end up as seven heads or seven world divisions.

the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet [they head divisions]; but receive power as kings an hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast (Revelation 17:12,13).

Before going on, we must know that the leadership scenario is that of the Dragon/Satan, who will give his power to the Beast/AntiChrist Political Leader, and the AntiChrist False Prophet will have equal power as well (Revelation. 16:13). Going back to the ten horns.

I considered the horns, and, behold there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things (Daniel 7:8).

the ten horns that were in his head, and of the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things whose look was more stout than his fellows (Daniel 7:20).

In Daniel 7:8, the little horn rose up, and plucked up by the roots three of the first Division Kings, which now left only seven horns as stated in Revelation 13:1. This little horn is a man with a lot of power given to him by Satan who carries a spirit of greatness or chieftancy. He is masterful. He is very CHARISMATIC (influence, charm, and inspirational over people). He is very different than the other Division Kings which is why he will rule over them and the whole world as the AntiChrist Political Leader.

In the meantime, during the leadership of the Antichrist Political Leader,

I saw one of his heads [divisions] as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast [Antichrist Political Leader]. And they worshipped the dragon [Satan] which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast saying who is like unto the beast? Who is able to make war with him. (Revelation 13:3-4).

Where it is written that one of the Antichrist's heads was wounded to death, but was healed - NO, that does not mean an individual, nor that the Antichrist Political Leader will have an attempt made on his life. "Wounded to death?" HEADS denote "division" streaming forth from one source, and this is known by reading Genesis 2:10: "And a river went out of Eden to water the gardens; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads." In other words, the river in Genesis 2:11-14 was divided into four rivers (Pison, Gihon, Hiddekel, and Euphrates), and the Hebrew word for head is roshe meaning chief, company, sum or top, in this case. Take the word top, which is the highest point; the word chief being the most important or foremost; and the word company is a number of individuals together - we get leaders - leaders or kings of divisions.

The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath. He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries (Psalm 110:5-6).

These two verses are prophesying the day of God The Father's wrath upon the nations, or the judging of the heathen as evidenced by dead bodies; and the wounding of the heads (kings of divisions) over many countries. Wound in Hebrew is machats, meaning to crush, or violently plunge or destroy. From these two verses of Scripture in Psalm 110, we know that the head wound in Revelation 13:3,12,14, means that one of the heads (kings) over one of the seven Divisions of the world will be "struck through" by the Lord, which means crushed or destroyed perhaps by an uprising of the citizens (not likely another nation or region, for there will be a false peace amongst the nations). Remember Revelation 13:4, "who is able to make war with him?" The writer believes it will be an uprising in one of the Regions.

The writer believes the world will be divided as (1) Europe, (2) Asia 1*, (3) Asia 2*, (4) Africa, (5) North America, (6) South America, and (7) Australia. (*Because of the huge populations in both China and India, this continent will have to be split in two.) Again, control of one of the seven divisions/heads will be lost/overthrown, but somehow or another, under the Antichrist Political Leader it will be miraculously restored. Because of the miraculous regain, all the world will follow after Satan and his Antichrist Political Leader of the Dragon Empire, worshipping him and believing no one can come against him, nor the Dragon Empire.

Summary Of Things Happening In The Political Leader's Life

  • All the world will be crazy after him and worship him except the Saints of God (Revelation 13:3,8)

  • The world worshippers will declare that no one can make war with him (Revelation 13:4)

The Hellish False Prophet

Do not be disappointed when you fail to see anything pertaining to Revelation 17 and the Great Whore under this topic of the False Prophet. The writer does believe that the False Prophet will be a Pope from the Roman Catholic Church, and that the Roman Catholic Church is a whore. But, Revelation 17's Babylonian Whore is not Rome and her seven hills that she sits on. The Scripture says seven mountains and not seven hills as we have been believing, and besides, the word mountains has a different connotation than hills. The Babylonian Whore will be dealt with in a future message.

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed (Revelation 13:11-12).

This speaks of a man being chosen as a King to rule. He will have two horns "LIKE" a lamb, signifying he will be gentle in nature, sincere, and meek, but yet these two horns* will prove to be the complete opposite. These two horns like a lamb is to deceive people in to believing that he will be like the Lamb of God (Messiah Jesus), but he will not be speaking like Jesus. He will be full of cruelty and deception - the greatest liar. Antichrist Religious Leader/False Prophet will appear holy and righteous in some of the things he says and does, but, his heart will tell a different story "out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh" (Matthew 12:34). He will speak as a Dragon/Satan as written in Revelation 13:11 because he will also get his power from the Dragon as did the Political Leader. He will be Satan's puppet as well. This fake holy man will have power to do wonders and miracles.

*Horns not only represent kings, but scattering as in Zechariah 1:18-21; a ray of light as in Habakkuk 3:4; strength as in Deuteronomy 33:17 and Lamentations 2:3,17; and honor, as in Job 16:15.

And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword [an uprising of sort] and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six (Revelation 13:13-18).

This fellow will be equally as powerful, demonically, as the Political fellow but just on a totally different front - RELIGIOUS. In a nutshell, this one world Spiritual Leader will cause all on earth to worship the Beast · will perform miracles that will deceive the people · coerce the people to make an image honoring the Beast, which he gives life to · coerce the people into worshipping the image with the threat of death if they don't · decree that all must have the mark of the Beast (666 etched or computer chip implanted registering 666) in the right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell and this will include medical treatment for folks with no faith in God.

In conclusion, Saints, you will not be permitted to speak against any one of the false religions throughout the world. (It's already that way in Canada and Australia - supposedly free cultures.) For the sake of world harmony, the False Prophet will decree that we are to accept one another, and of course that will be acceptance of him as well as the head of all "religious people" on earth. Even now, the Pope calls himself The Vicar of Christ", meaning, Jesus Christ left him in charge of the Church while He's in Heaven. Please!
