Homosexuality

The Real Battle Is For The Church
January 15, 2002

There are plenty of homosexuals sitting in the churches on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights.  They are singing in the choir, playing the organ, teaching Sunday School/Bible study, serving as youth and singles ministers, and even pastors.  Yes, even pastors.  Saints, you know this to be a fact in the gay-affirming churches and other mainline denominational churches, other than Baptist, Pentecostal, and Charismatic churches.  Well, homosexuality is confirmed in the staunchest of Protestant denominations – Baptist, Pentecostal, and Charismatic – it is not at the entranceway, but through the door – inside the building, in the pulpit.

It was reported by Charisma News Service online, December 21, 2001 , Roberts Liardon…

“…is taking a three-month leave of absence to seek ‘professional and church counseling related to a recent short-term homosexual relationship….” (“Roberts Liardon Steps Down Over ‘Moral Failure’”, Charisma News Service, December 21, 2001 .)

That may have been a short-term homosexual affair, but I guarantee you, this was not a “first time” homosexual affair in this man’s life.  Short-term, long-term, or first-time, the fantasizing in the lives of those with homosexual demons are unnatural acts committed over and over again in the mind and it is the same as giving in to the natural acts.  Over the years, this man Liardon has been a homosexual goat, posing as a pastor, leading or rather misleading God’s sheep while he was in chains.  Perverted secrets keep people in chains and his perverted secret did just that.  Abominable!
Liardon, 34, said,

“As a minister of the gospel, I realize my moral failure has been inappropriate and wrong.  I have asked God’s forgiveness, and for the past month have sought professional counseling and other help.” (Ibid.)

And that makes everything honky-dory, right?  I don’t think so.  Liardon says he is aware that his sexual immorality was wrong and after asking God for forgiveness he sought “professional” counseling.  Why not good old fashioned spiritual prayer and deliverance?  Professional counseling is to say he sought counsel from the world (psychologist, psychiatrist) instead of from God and His works alone.  This fellow sought worldly counsel because he feels there will be leniency from the Churchworld on his behalf being that the Churchworld is so used to looking to worldly/professional help instead of complete trust in God.  I suspect, that because this fellow loves his ministry/prominence/money, and only wants to walk away from it for a very short period, he chose this route for a so-called cure so that after a few monthly sessions and several thousand dollars, those professionals will declare him free from homosexuality. What a joke! They will pronounce him cured. Then, after that proclamation, Roberts Liardon will be ready to pick up right where he left off as a church pastor and evangelist.

“Liardon is going to re-evaluate his situation in three months’ time, together with those offering ‘accountability, counseling and authority…and determine the appropriate time for his return.’” (Ibid.)

Three months, six months, a year, whatever, Roberts Liardon is no longer fit to come back to the pulpit – NOT EVER AGAIN, unless he is delivered through a deliverance minister who will cast out those homosexual demons.

ANOTHER ONE BIT THE DUST as well.  On January 14, 2002 , the Denver Post ran an article about a pastor who’d announced his homosexuality to his Congregation Church (United Church of Christ) on January 6, and he got a standing ovation.  Scott Landis said this about making his decision to announce to his church:

“It was a risk….But this is a remarkable congregation.  They showed me compassion, love and support beyond my wildest dreams” (“Pastor Comes ‘Out’; Church Cheers” by Virginia Culver, Denver Post.com, January 14, 2002 ).

INTERJECTION:  A Gallup poll released on June 4, 2001 suggests that 54% of Americans feel homosexuals should serve as clergymen.  They will not ever serve in the True Church of Jesus Christ.  Psuedo-Christian churches (as is Scott Landis’ church organization), maybe, but not in the True Church where the real Saints of God make up congregations, and will never stand for homosexual demons in their pulpits.

As the article went on to say, this man’s announcement meant the end of his 25-year marriage and a new relationship with his three children after his many years of struggling with homosexuality.  Scott Landis had struggled since adolescence, but he

“…lived the life of the straight male I thought everyone wanted me to be.  I married the woman I love.  We had three beautiful children I adore.  Eventually, the façade began to break down.  It felt like I was dying” (Ibid.)

He lived all those years saying "no" to homosexuality and "no" to coming out of the closet, but he was not delivered from those demons by saying no.  His January 6th actions are proof of that.  Those homosexual demons who were quiet all those years, maybe only surfacing perhaps a little bit through the way he talked, or gestured with his hands, or may even the way his hips swung as he walk – who knows, it could have been that smell they have one for another that only someone with homosexual demons have.  Then, who knows, maybe it was none of those homosexual tell-tales.  Today, in 2002, those demons are showing their true colors as they have done and will continue to do in the lives of all who are struggling with homosexuality as they “just say ‘no.’”

The Reverend Scott Landis is remaining in his church and believes that by coming out of the closet, he’ll make a better pastor.  Saints of God, you know God is nowhere in that.  That’s Satan all by his lonesome.

It’s Iniquitous – It’s Unclean

Homosexuality is not a pure spirit, but is an unclean evil spirit.  Having an unclean spirit does not mean that people don’t like washing their bodies clean and wearing clean clothes.  An unclean spirit is any spirit other than the Holy Spirit and is the opposite of the Holy Spirit in that he is demonic/evil.  It is unclean not only in thoughts and deeds, but is unclean for its sexual perversity.  Any unclean spirit in a person’s life does not cease existence simply because the person resists the thoughts and the temptations by just saying “no.”  Those spirits have to be driven out.  “Out” like Jesus drove them out in Mark 1:23-27; 5:1-13, and Jesus left the Church the power and authority in His name to continue driving them out.  (See Mark 6:7, 13, and Acts of the Apostles.)

The unclean spirit of homosexuality is iniquitous.  Iniquity in Hebrew is Avown which comes from the work Avah, meaning pervert or do wickedly. A pervert is someone who misrepresents and in this case, homosexuals misrepresent God’s intended purpose for His institution of marriage between a man and woman for procreation.  The iniquity in homosexuality is abhorrently immoral.

Homosexuality is a work of iniquity, and God “…hattest all works of iniquity” (Psalm 5:5.)  God hates homosexuality which is why He calls it abominable. Workers of iniquity are evil doers and they shall be cut off (Psalm 37:9). Yet, He has made a way out of darkness for them, Jesus Christ, and the deliverance ministry He left behind when He went back to the Father.

We must stop a moment and look at the heart of man.  It is filled with

  1. Iniquity:  Faults - Perversity (stubborn/intractable) - Unrighteousness - Wicked - Evil (gross immorality).

  2. Guile:  Deceit - Trickery - Craftiness - Duplicity (double dealing) - Hypocrisy.

·        Homosexuality falls under iniquity and this category of sin covers abominable acts.

Yes, sin is sin, but the abominations listed in Leviticus 18 clearly stand out before the Lord because they directly involve the body. In Leviticus 18, God lists incest, sex during menstruation, homosexuality, and bestiality as being abominations that defile one.  Defilement is to be made filthy; to be desecrated; or one who is utterly unclean.

At the end of Leviticus 18, the Lord decrees:

“For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people” (Leviticus 18:29 ).

For homosexuals calling themselves Christians, the modern-day meaning of being “cut off from among their people” is to be removed from the Church and ministry in the Church unless there is repentance and deliverance from such foul abominable unclean spirits in their lives.  It also means God does not make His abode in them anymore.  For He cannot dwell where there is an abomination – something he detests.

Bring Homosexuals Out Of Sin – Conversion Therapy

Conversion therapy is an attempt to change a person from homosexuality to heterosexuality, and seemingly has a high failure rate.  This belief is not based upon the secular study by psychologists Ariel Shidlo and Michael Schroeder who found that of 202 homosexuals that received conversion therapy, 178 reported failed efforts. (“Study of Former Homosexuals Shows People Like Me Exist” by Ken Walker, The Baptist Press, May 11, 2001 .)  This belief is based upon the simple spiritual fact that you can’t just say “no” to homosexual demons and that’s that.  You may say no and even renounce homosexuality, but there must still be full-fledged spiritual deliverance to drive out those spirits of perversion and in all likelihood, it will not be a one-time deal.  This is the way Jesus Christ will set the homosexual totally free – free indeed – no after thoughts and voices plaguing him or her or drawing him or her back into the lifestyle believing they could never be free.

It takes more than conversion therapy to bring one out of homosexuality without even an occasional struggle.  First of all, when God Almighty delivers, He completely delivers and that being the case, those demons of perversion will not go back unless the person personally invites them back into their life.  (I might add here that when one is genuinely delivered, there is no way on God’s green earth that they will want to go back to living with whatever ungodly demon had previously occupied their temple.)

When God really delivers, the aftereffect of whatever He delivered the person from is not life-long or an ongoing struggle in that area until He returns.  That simply is not so.  I’m a living testament (as well as many others) to that in the area of sugary desserts (cookies, cakes, pies, ice cream, and yogurt).  I’d struggled for years and years with that addiction and just saying “no” did nothing but keep me eating and constantly asking the Lord for forgiveness of my sinful addiction to those sugary desserts. Jesus did deliver me and I don’t struggle in that area anymore – no thoughts, not anything.  I occasionally bake birthday cakes and I’m not the least bit tempted to eat them when I see them.  I have been genuinely delivered for 5 years – FREE, and that’s the way it ought to be with those claiming to be free from homosexuality. (I can cite other instances of struggles in my life that Jesus has delivered me from and there has been no struggle in those areas – no struggle because when you are delivered, you are delivered.)

Just saying “no” to homosexuality is not deliverance.  The voice, the walk, all the effeminate mannerisms signify those demons of homosexuality are still in the campground and aren’t leaving until they are driven out in the name of Jesus via Holy Ghost deliverance.  Until this begins to happen in organizations such as Exodus International, and other such groups engaged in conversion therapy, they will continue to have a high rate of attrition.

Conversion therapy needs to add to its program Holy Ghost deliverance or casting out of demons.  But first they have to give up the conviction that that kind of stuff went out with the Apostles.  The failure of conversion therapy in the life of homosexuals does not mean they have failed to do what it takes to be set free, but the overpowering force of many demons operating in those lives alone is calling the shots and will not go out of those lives just because they have given themselves to Jesus Christ.  Christians with homosexual spirits can cry out to God, morning, noon, and night for change in their lives, fast 40 days, read the Bible from cover-to-cover, daily, but those demons of perversion (lust, impure thoughts, dreams, desires, etc.) that are driving their lives will not take their foot off the accelerator until they have succeeded bringing them to that place whereby they lose hope of ever being free, thus going on in life as what they can “Christian homosexuals,” and there is no such in the Church of Jesus Christ.

 The Struggle Is Real

The homosexual may doggedly fight to overcome those fantasies, the lust, and may seemingly be an overcomer but  Demons are super-clever – they know how to lay low and not stir-up the homosexual pot” (lust, desires, fantasies), and as a result, the homosexual thinks that with the help of Jesus, he’s now straight or on the road to being straight.  Oh, how simple!  Just say “no” to homosexuality and you’re an overcomer.  Wo, baby!  Back up.  You are not out of the homosexual woods just because you’ve said no to those ENTRENCHED HOMOSEXUAL SPIRITS.  You are a demonic land mind just waiting to be triggered by some attractive person of the same sex, when those suppressed perverted demons will exercise control in your life and have you to the place where you’re saying “yes” to all unimaginable perverted sex acts.  All hell breaks loose in the person’s life until he/she stops living in secrecy and gets help from a trustworthy and anointed person in the deliverance ministry.  Deliverance is a must and it will definitely not happen overnight unless the deliverance leader is highly anointed of God, and I believe there are a few out there now but will soon be commonplace in the church world – the True Church , that is.

In a Charisma magazine article, Bob Davies, Executive Director of Exodus North America is quoted as saying…

“…The past is always going to be in the background.  There are occasional struggles, but they don’t rule my life.  If I didn’t have this struggle, I’d have some other struggle” (Charisma, “Can Christians Be Gay”?, July 2001, p. 42).

Yes, if you didn’t have that struggle, there would probably be some other struggle.  But, if Jesus delivered you from homosexuality, then there should be no struggle in that area, but perhaps another struggle. (If you’re struggling with homosexuality, you’re not delivered from it – you’re not free.)

On page 41 of that very same article, Grahame Hazell, President of Exodus in Europe , Africa , and the Middle East said this about ex-homosexuals and their struggle….

“Will it always be a struggle?  Usually, yes.  We will always be drawn to our roots and will never be perfect this side of the cross” (Ibid, p. 41).

As you can see Saints, the struggle in the lives of ex-homosexuals in the Church is very real and very overpowering.  Mel White, Pastor of the largest gay church in the world, in many words, admitting that in that same Charisma article….

“…[Mel White] believes homosexuality is simply a variation of God’s creation.  He says he came to that conclusion after 35 years of unsuccessful attempts …to overcome his homosexual feelings” (Ibid. p. 44).

Homosexuals can abstain from the sex acts all they want, but celibacy doesn’t bring about complete freedom or deliverance from those demon spirits.  And yes, all of us creatures will always struggle against something in our lives, but once we’re truly delivered from whatever it is  for the time being, then that struggle is over with.

As recent as a January 2002 article, Bob Davies, was interviewed and had this to say about the struggle….

“Over the years I have seen some people leave Exodus for bad reasons – because they’re struggling sexually, because they’ve fallen into immorality….I know many men who are totally transformed compared to 20 years ago, but that doesn’t mean that they never have a thought or a memory or a temptation or a struggle.  It means that the struggle has diminished significantly.  That doesn’t mean they haven’t changed; it just means that for all of us, redemption is still incomplete.  We’re all still in process as believers.  And we may never cross that finish line of total victory until we see Christ face to face….Sometimes in Exodus we have been too silent about our ongoing struggles”  (Christianity Today online, “Ex-Gay Sheds The Mocking Quote Marks, posted January 7, 2002).

You poor soul!  You poor soul!  Jesus crossed that finish line for you and left gifts in His Church for encouraging you, the Saints, and to set you free.  But, I can see the reasoning behind Bob Davies’ thinking and it is because he, along with most of the Churchworld,  believe driving out demons in the Gospel account and in the book of Acts went out with the Apostles.  You poor soul!  Forget about what some denomination has told you and hold fast to the Gospel and Acts accounts of setting the captives (“you”) free from demon bondage and homosexuality is just that – demon bondage.

Pastor Foster (ex-homosexual) was also written up in that same July 2001 Charisma magazine article.  I recently emailed him on two occasions with questions on the subject.  His reply to my question about the continuing struggle with those thoughts, the fantasizing, etc., was

“Are there struggles?  Yes there are and yes there will always be.  That is the reality of living holy for every believer….All Christians struggle with sin and sinful desires that in no way diminishes our standing with God unless we fall out of relationship with him and begin to sin habitually without repentance….A struggle means that you have not been overcome.  It also means that you are actively combating the desire of the flesh with prayer, self control, Holy Spirit guidance and internalizing God’s word.  As a matter of fact if you do these things, you will exercise mastery over the flesh, though not in a sense of completion or total perfection, but in the sense of spiritual maturity.  A struggle is not falling in and out of a sexual sin at will….Pastors are made of the same material everyone else is.  Yes, I identify myself as a struggler overcoming to overcome.  And my struggle to overcome is guaranteed”  (E-mail from Pastor Foster, January 16, 2001 ).

I say to all of that, a struggle is to say (1) you have not outright given in to those tormenting demons of homosexuality; (2) those tormenting demons of homosexuality have not overpowered you up to this point, but are working on it; and (3) the continued struggle to overcome brings nothing but a life of misery which is far from peace in the Holy Ghost.

This brings me to something else Pastor Foster told me about the struggle.  The article said that the pastor had been “delivered.”  I was really curious about him because of the use of the word delivered.  Having read that he had grown up in a holiness church, I figured he knew what being delivered really was and truly casting out demons.  So, I sent him an email asking if someone had actually prayed the prayer of deliverance over him and he wrote back.

“No, there was no one present to pray a "prayer of deliverance" over me.  If you mean do I think it’s necessary for someone to pray over you prior to deliverance, the answer is no” (Email from Pastor Foster, January 7, 2002 ).

He went on to explain why and it had to do with him not wanting anything to do with the church because that was where his sexual molestation had taken place at the age of 13, and that after 11 years of being a practicing homosexual, plus suicidal, he was convinced by the devil that the church wanted no part of him.

“Deliverance in its true form means to "rescue from imminent danger". That was the situation I was in....Jesus himself came to "rescue" me. (look at Lk 15:4)He set me free and THEN I went to the church. remember when Jesus healed the 10 lepers? After he did his work he told them to go and show themselves to the priests. He never required them to get the priest's approval before they came  to him” (Ibid.)

Clearly there is a bit of confusion here. To be rescued from imminent danger is still deliverance.  Anytime a person has an unclean spirit running their life, they are in imminent danger of losing their salvation if not rescued.  (Salvation can be lost.  See “The Marriage Between ‘Jesus Did It All’ And ‘Once Saved, Always Saved” at http://scarlet-to-snow.com/info13.html.  Yes, Jesus grabbed you and brought you back into the sheepfold where He can finish getting you sanctified – beginning with the purging of those unclean homosexual spirits in your being.  Proof they are yet there is your struggling with homosexuality.

Deliverance is to be set free, and it must be made painfully clear here that having the prayer of deliverance prayed over someone is not getting approval from mankind or a priest before being touched by Jesus.  The prayer of deliverance is Jesus, through His Saints, setting the captives free.  These gifts were left to and for the Church.

“I don't feel it is necessary to have someone pray over an individual  because God knows the conditions of salvation. Regardless of whether you are alone or in a crowd, in a church or in a club, he will save you if you call upon his name.  That’s the bottom line.  He said if you call on me, I will answer, Jer 29:12” (Ibid.)

That’s deception right there.  Yes, God knows the conditions of salvation and He will save you if you call upon His name.  However, there is a distinct difference between calling upon His name for the saving of your spirit-man versus being delivered from demon spirits of homosexuality that are nestled in your soul and in your flesh.

I’m not saying that someone praying over you is not right, just not necessary to be delivered. That's why Jesus died, so that we could have direct access to God, without having to go through the priests (man)” (Ibid.)

True, Jesus did die so that we can have direct access to God.  Upon His death He established His Church whose mission is the “Great Commission” until He returns.  In part, the Great Commission says

“…In my name shall they cast out devils…” (Mark 16:17 ).

and that means big fat homosexual devils, along with the rest of the devils or demons, are to be driven out of the lives of His people – setting the captives free.  Jesus cast out devils/demons and had this to say about the works in regard to His Church after His departure:

“Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do…” (John 14:12).

If casting out demons or deliverance isn’t necessary, why did Jesus say that?  Poor Church !  So deceived!  That’s why there is the struggling.

Keeping the above in mind, if all those in the Church were required to do is to “go directly to Jesus,” then there would be no need for preachers, teachers, churches, and ministries.  No one would have a job to do in the Church because the Great Commission would be defunct.  Thank God it’s not and all so-called ex-homosexuals who are out their struggling with temptations, etc., need the prayer of deliverance prayed over them so that they are set free to go love and serve God in true righteousness and holiness.

TESTAMENT OF FAILURE #1:  Jeremy Marks (married since 1991), ex-homosexual director of Courage (UK) founded in 1988, came out of the ex-homosexual organization in March 2001, renouncing conversion therapy when he said that it does not work.

TESTAMENT OF FAILURE #2:  John Paulk (married since 1992), manager of Homosexuality And Gender Department for Public Policy of Focus On The Family, was seen in a gay bar in Washington , DC in September 2000.  He of course said he didn’t realize it was such, but that he needed to use the restroom.  Well, after using the restroom, he sat around for awhile.  Even though Exodus International removed him from their board, they later reinstated him after counseling with a Christian therapist.  (Paulk’s term expired August 2001.)  He is also still with Focus On The Family.

John Paulk’s escapade is prime example of the struggle ex-homosexuals of the Conversion Therapy school of thought face in their day-to-day living.  Just saying “no” does not set a person free from homosexuality because they’re already dwelling in that person’s temple.  “No” would work if the demons were attempting to get in, but they are already occupants. They must have deliverance – deliverance as Jesus and the apostles in Acts demonstrated for the Body of Christ.  No, that wasn’t just for them but for all that call themselves The Church of Jesus Christ.  Jesus did His part on the cross, resurrected, and took His place next to the Father, and the Church’s part is to believe – FAITH UNSHAKABLE – doing greater works than Jesus did.

The Homosexual Agenda

Saints, no need to question – God did not make any one gay, and those who are gay, He has made a way out for them via deliverance.  David Graves, son of a Baptist preacher, 2 years at Oral Roberts University , married, a child, became divorced because his attraction to men was too strong.  He was granted leadership roles in a church and at a point was encouraged to attend Exodus International to give up the homosexuality, but after 1-1/2 years of weekly meetings and failing the test of being alone with 6 other men on a 5-day trip, he concluded…

“I’m gay, I’m a Christian, and there’s no need to be healed from it,” he thought.  “God made me this way.  It’s who I am.”  (“A Battle For Blessing”” by Sharon Tubbs, St. Petersburg Times, July  22, 2001 ).

After this, Graves became very bold when he started dating another man whom he took to church with him.  He said

“I felt like I met somebody that God had sent to me….” (Ibid)

There is no way on God’s green earth that He is matchmaker in a homosexual relationship, for that would be a stamp of His approval, and He utterly detests homosexuality.

It is one thing to receive homosexuals in the church, but for them to come with their mates as though they represent normalcy, or the homosexual movement, that’s another issue. Graves did precisely that and the church ordered him to relinquish his positions of leadership as well as quit the choir.  Graves stopped going to the church for several months but then returned with his live-in lover because they figured….

“…they have a better chance of changing religious attitudes about gays by standing their ground and staying visible.” (Ibid).

Graves was also quoted as saying….

“I am determined that God has sent me to that church for a reason…And I cannot walk away from it.” (Ibid)

If God sent Graves to that church, it was for salvation and deliverance, not to change the Church’s opposition to homosexuality.  Mr. Graves believes that little Baptist church and all other churches that oppose homosexuality in the church, will change.

“I think I can see it within a year or two….I think it’s going to come about because of me and Paul not backing down, not backing away.” (Ibid).

I think you’re a liar!  It is obvious that the battle of homosexuality, this day and time, is out to destroy the True Church of Jesus Christ.  That’s the real battle, but the Devil is a liar.  The word to the True Church of Jesus Christ is, “don’t back down!  If they don’t want to change their lifestyle, then kick them out”!  Don’t listen to the hogwash about the Church has no compassion, no love.  Have compassion!  Have love! But, tell the homosexuals the truth about their lifestyle and have them know that they must be delivered or else.  They are intent on making the True Church of Jesus Christ accept them while in that lifestyle.

Why Homosexuals Should Not Be In Church Leadership

Judas Iscariot didn’t return to the pulpit after betraying Jesus – Judas died.  Saul didn’t continue on as king after he took it upon himself to make the sacrificial burnt offering before God instead of waiting for God’s prophet to perform his duty – Saul lost the kingdom and he died.  Judas’ act of betrayal was abominable because it was God’s own Son that was betrayed and Saul’s act was abominable because God had appointed holy men to make burnt offerings before Him, and not Saul.  These two abominations had to do with direct contact with things pertaining to God’s holy and undefiled state – things that mankind should not tamper with.  As result of Judas’ and Saul’s abominations, both the consequence was (1) defilement in their lives/unclean spirits, (2) banishment from God and their call in life, and (3) in the end, death.

That was all said to say this, ex-homosexuals without deliverance and closet homosexuals in the True Church of Jesus Christ who are in leadership positions should not be in those positions.  They should be immediately removed from those positions until those demons in them have been completely cast out – no traces or tell-tale signs evident.  They should be removed immediately because their temples, their bodies where God should dwell are defiled by abominable homosexual spirits.  Once this defilement has taken place, there is no way God dwells in such persons’ lives. For God cannot and will not dwell in the same temple/body that an unclean spirit of homosexuality dwells (see the story of Dagon and the Ark in 1 Samuel 5.) This is modern-day banishment – God removes His Holy Spirit from the temple/body where homosexual spirits dwell in so-called Christians.

Homosexuality is greatly disliked by God and He will have nothing to do with homosexuals unless they are crying out in repentance.  That seems cold in the eyes of man but in God’s eyes, it’s about their wickedness and He will have no parts of it.  Again God is repulsed by that perversion and He will have absolutely nothing to do with it.

To all homosexuals in Church leadership, you have no business in those positions!  To all ex-homosexuals in Church leadership, you have no business in those positions!  Your temples, which are your bodies, are not purified whereby the Father and the Son can make their abode in you.  You need Holy Ghost deliverance by having those demons driven out so that you are purified and no longer struggling with that abomination.  When Jesus sets you free, you are free and with no struggles in that area.  When Jesus sets you free of something, you are clean, and once you are genuinely cleansed by God, no one can call you unclean.  Not until that time though, are you ready to take on leadership roles in the Church of Jesus Christ (Acts 10:14 -28).

Gay Affirming Churches Cannot Twist Scripture To Justify Their Lifestyle

Homosexuals, celibate or non-celibate, that leave the regular churches because they don’t feel welcomed, they feel uncomfortable, or whatever else, and join renegade churches just so they can feel a part of, the Scripture written to you is….

“They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us” (I John 2:19).

The churches for homosexuals are not splintered because of non-acceptance of their practicing lifestyle by other church groups.  They are splintered because they want to destroy the True Church of Jesus Christ with their belief and teaching that Christians can love the Lord and yet be actively engaged in the homosexual lifestyle. That’s a misleading notion. The Word of God says as plain as day,

“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” (John 14:15).

Committing the abominable act of homosexuality is not keeping God’s Commandments.

Gay-affirming churches believe that Jesus came to set them free from sin, not their sexuality.  Somewhere along the way they fail to realize their sexuality is sin so Jesus wants to set them free from that sin.  It has been said that homosexuals don’t of their own accord choose their orientation. I differ with that belief.  The moment a homosexual gives in to those fleshly desires, he or she has chosen their orientation.  Homosexuals do freely choose their orientation, no matter how young or how old.  Homosexual Pastor Scott Landis said,

“…homosexuality isn’t chosen, but something a person is born with…” (“Pastor Comes ‘Out’; Church Cheers” by Virginia Culver, Denver Post.com, January 14, 2002 ).

Gay Affirming churches and gay leadership are misguiding the flock with such lies.

The preachers and teachers in the “gay affirming” churches and organization are further beguiling these poor degenerate souls by telling them….

“Nor could I believe that a God who cares would abandon them [homosexuals] to a life of frustration and despair-condemning them forever if they pursued a relationship that apparently He could never accept.” (“A Time For Change – New Developments at Courage” by Jeremy Marks, Spring 2001 @ www.courage.org.uk.)

That statement by Jeremy Marks, a pastor who once headed an ex-homosexual organization, was telling the homosexuals in the Church, paraphrased….

“God cares for you and will never dump you because you’re in a homosexual relationship.  Oh, no, He doesn’t accept that, but He will not condemn you.”

That’s a lie.  That’s misleading.  Jeremy Marks goes on to say….

“Of course it was clear from the beginning (Genesis 2:18 ) that man needed companionship. For those unable to marry (a plight that Jesus acknowledged in Matthew 19:11,12), who find the prospect of lifelong celibacy impossible to sustain, then rather than give up hope and abandon themselves to some morally dangerous situations, they clearly can benefit from a godly same-sex relationship.” (Ibid.)

If lifelong celibacy is impossible to sustain, then you are a sinner; should one die in their sin, then one will knock hell wide open.  No, Jeremy Marks, it’s not “once saved, always saved.”  It there can be a “godly same-sex relationship,” it’s because the little “g” in godly denotes Satan and hell.  Don’t kid yourself.  You’re misleading people to choose the broad way of destruction just for same-sex pleasures.  Woe unto you, preachers.

“Recognising the sensitive pastoral issues in today's world, we have learned that we cannot doggedly insist that any and every form of erotic expression in a same-sex relationship is deviant. “ (Ibid.)

Well, they are deviant!  It sure Lord is deviant regardless of the ways you dress it up.  It’s unnatural!  It’s perverted!

“From ongoing prayer and bible study, currently my conclusions are that although we must shun the pursuit of "recreational sex", there is scope in scripture for acceptance of godly, intimate same-sex relationships. This is not an "anything goes" policy- there has to be a basic moral framework and ethos for anyone seeking to be Christ-centred….“It is my hope that, as Christians, we will be willing to see what God is doing (John 5:19 -21). This means recognising the need and desire that sincere Christian homosexual people have for intimate relationship. If we neglect to do so, I believe we fail to recognise what the Holy Spirit is saying to the Churches in these days”(Ibid.).

From the sound of the above, Satan gave Jeremy Marks a demonic revelation. The Holy Spirit certainly isn’t saying to the Church what Jeremy Marks and others like him are saying.

By being in churches that cater to homosexuals is to say God has called homosexuals to be at peace with themselves and with their lifestyle.  For any homosexual to believe that is sure confirmation that he/she is hearing the voice of demons and not that of the Good Shepherd who says His sheep hear His voice.

One cannot be a homosexual and be a True Christian, perhaps a psuedo-Christian, yes, but not a True Christian.  A homosexual cannot have a “right” relationship with God because there is no way that is spiritually possible, especially since He’s already said they are an abomination.  Please, God doesn’t take back His Word.  When He speaks IT, that’s that.

“John ‘Mike’ Cumbess, 37, has been attending the church [Potter’s House Fellowship Church , Tampa , FL ] ….He was raised in a Pentecostal church that preach against homosexuality.  Once he came to terms with his sexuality in 1981, Cumbess said, he left.  That was the last time he spoke in tongues until he started coming to Potter’s House.  Now, Cumbess feels revived and says he’s not holding anything back from God.” (“Gay Pentecostals Find A Place To Worship” by Sharon Tubbs, St. Petersburg Times online, July 22, 2001 .)

INTERJECTION:  I question the source of those tongues then and even more so now that he’s in a gay affirming church where the pastor said he teaches a strict standard of morality – he preaches that sex is only for loving, monogamous relationships.  Mind you, these are not heterosexual married couples he’s preaching this to, but homosexual partners that sit in pairs with their arms resting behind their partners’ backs.  Don’t these people know how very powerful and clever demons are?  Oh, and tricksters, too.

Saints of God, Satan is working through homosexuals to beat down the True Church of Jesus Christ, but none of them will win the battle.

CONCLUSION

Cleanliness in God’s sight is a soul without the abominable homosexual spirits in the lives of those calling themselves Christians.  That is why spiritual warfare, by way of the prayer of deliverance, is necessary to free the ex-homosexuals from the struggles in their lives.

Let it be said once again, it takes more than just saying “no.”  There is no freedom in just saying no.  I standby what the Lord impressed heavily upon my spirit the first day of  my most recent fast ( 1/17/02 ) and these are the words that were loud and clear in my spirit:

“Whom the Son has set free, he is free indeed.”

Which is what He said in John 8:36:  “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.”

Plain and simple, there are no struggles with homosexuality if God has indeed delivered you from that abomination!

Remember, Jesus said, “cast out” demons, not suppress them or just say “no” to them.  Those demons have to be dealt with, and individually.  They must be called out and commanded to leave. A long as your homosexuality goes without deliverance as in the casting out of those demons, the tighter the grip those demons will have on your life.

Homosexuals, celibate or not, are not to serve in the True Church of Jesus Christ in a leadership role. Homosexuals are not allowed to minister in The Church in any form or fashion, be it pastor, youth minister, singles minister, whatever.  After all, Jesus’ ministry was also about deliverance – setting people free from demonic control. That being the case, how can demonically-driven/controlled homosexuals be about the business of delivering others in the Church who have problems with demonism?

Churches must be sensitive to those in the sin of homosexuality as they are to those in the sin of adultery or the sin of gluttony.  On the other hand, though, churches must not be so sensitive that they compromise their stance and allow homosexuals to flaunt their lifestyle so as to force those in the church to accept them and their promiscuous lifestyle without change. It’s one thing to be upfront about homosexuality in the Church, but along side exhibiting that lifestyle, the homosexual must be desiring to change, beginning with repentance, and renouncement, and then the casting out of those demons of perversion.

Saints of God, don’t be a party to helping homosexuals legitimize their lifestyle by sanctifying it in the church.  Churches should accept homosexuals as they are, but on the condition that (1) they are not there to flaunt their lifestyle as a way of forcing True Christians to accept them and their promiscuity, and  (2) they want to be delivered from that lifestyle of sin.

God wants His people to be perfect with Him (Deuteronomy 18:13 ).  He wants His people to be in complete obedience or He will drive them out of His presence as Adam and Eve were driven out of His presence.

“…If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us” (I John 4:12 ).

Having the love of God in us does not mean that we accept the sin of practicing homosexuals in our midst.  There is no sugar-coating that fact.  The love of God is keeping His commandments and we don’t find that oppressive or painful (I John 5:3).  If non-homosexual Christians hate homosexuals, they don’t know God and their salvation is in jeopardy.

Ex-homosexuals need those demons cast out of them and until such happens, they should have no role in anybody’s Church.  The mere fact that they’re having struggles with those demons of perversion means they are not free – celibate or not.  “Whom the Son sets free, is free indeed” – NO STRUGGLES.  Until this begins to happen, the Church of Jesus Christ is in trouble by the invading forces of homosexual demons, nestled in both those claiming to be delivered (but really are not), and in those who have given up on being delivered after such long time struggling but claim to be a Christian.  The real battle is for the Church – to destroy her morals, but they will not get the victory, thanks to you and me in Christ Jesus, Amen!
